I recently encounter Alexandra "Lexxy" Douglass's work on the new Penny Arcade show Strip Search. She has a really great style and I am glad to see that she is leveraging kickstarter to get the ball rolling.
I suggest watching the video to get a real feel for Cloud Factory but I think this quote sums it up quite well:
"If you like magic, mysterious ancient technology, and the repeated exposure of young characters to great peril, The Cloud Factory is a comic for you."
