This is a very impressive recreation of the Death Star interior. Runar is able to blend the repeating nature of the build with nuances that break up the tedium. Usually I shy away from MOCs with what must be a staggering part count, but the artistry of this set cannot be ignored.
Honorable Mention
This is a MOC based directly on Theo Jansen's Rhinoceros.
Theo Jansen creates mobile art pieces called Strandbeests. They use wind energy, and sometimes human energy, to create a walking effect. It appears that this MOC is a direct recreation of the Rhinoceros.
