Cuusoo of the Day: 2012.06.14

Black Vehicles, a Repeat Performance, a Ferrari Fighter, and the Next Avatar

Pick of the Day
Mini Batmobile
by Tiler

Small build and Mini builds do not get the respect they deserve.  The Leaning Tower of Pisa and Micro-Scale Star Wars come to mind as some of the rare exceptions.  This is an example of micro-building at its best.  Just look at all those curves that seamlessly integrate!

Honorable Mention
Union Pacific Big Boy 4-8-8-4
by arty

Texas has a lot of impressive Train builders.  I don't known if "arty" is one of my fellow TexLUGers, but I am sure he would be welcome at the train shows.

Repeat Performance
Medieval Market Street
by AlexP

AlexP made me make this new category "Repeat Performance."  He appears to have a whole theme going on.  I hear his own pages have even more spectacular builds like these.  Had he not released the "The Drake's Head Inn" yesterday, I would have given this Pick of the Day, but now I see a very gorgeous series and  I don't think AlexP is going to need any extra publicity to drive attention to this beauty.

Second Look
Rossa fighter
by mani2012

This re-purposed Ferarri set has been on Cuusoo since OCTOBER and its only gotten 9 supporters!  This is a case study in why you should use TAGs appropriately.  Currently mani2012 is using "ferarri", "retro fighter", and "mani lego creation".  All true, sure but they have done a good job of burying this gem.

Cuusoo Wishes

Again, this is not in Cuusoo, but I sure wish it was
